So not knowing what to do and thinking we're pretty fucked, we decided to unplug his G2, thus hard bricking it. While in the LG Flash Tool, the computer finished the program, while the phone still sat at 3%.
He has the T-Mobile version (D801) and we were following this XDA thread doing the first method mentioned.
I had a buddy of mine who has a G2 who was looking to jump back to stock.
